Well, my wish came true (for once!). We made it to Orlando by the beginning of November. B was able to transfer within the company we worked for, but I've been unemployed until now. Tomorrow I start training at my new job! It's not Disney, sadly. Someday ::sigh::
I'm a sales counselor for Universal Studios. I will be helping people who call in with questions about tickets, rides, hotels, etc. I'm excited. I don't have a uniform for the first time ever! It's business casual, so yay. I've spent the last couple days getting together all my work appropriate clothes and doing laundry. It's only part time, but that's really all I wanted right now anyway. B is looking for either a second job or a full time overnight position somewhere because he only gets about 30 hours a week where he is now, and that just isn't enough. He likes working overnight, and when you work 3rd shift you're guaranteed your hours. No going home early because it's slow, no getting asked not to come in because occupancy is low. Plus, as a bellman he would make tips. He's really good at making tips.
I love where we're living. We're about 15 miles outside Orlando in the town B grew up in, living in a house that his dad owns. We don't have to pay any rent, we just have to cover the water and power bills. It's a 3/2 with lots of space for all our kitties and our new doggy.
I'm happy with everything right now, and I'd go through it all again to get here.

A Year Makes All the Difference
It's been over a year since my last post and so much has changed that I don't know if I have enough time to post it all. I'll give a summarized version. In Novemeber 2010 I started seeing someone (henceforth referred to as "B") other than my husband. In February I moved out. I stayed with B until the end of March, when I got my first apartment. In August B moved in. At the beginning of this month (September) my husband (soon to be ex husband, or STBXH) and I filed divorce papers. We've parted on good terms, he's now seeing someone, and the divorce should be relatively painless. We have no children, no assets, and it was uncontested. In the mail yesterday I received a letter from the county with my court date: Friday, September 30th. It's almost over. By the end of the week I will be officially single. By December (hopefully!!) I'll be living in Orlando starting my new life. I can honestly say I have no regrets. I'm happy with how things are going and I can only hope things will geet better once I move. The last seven months have been the pelude to my new life. I'm going to try and post more here, and I'll will be deleting my old posts soon. Clean slate. This also means I'm going to have to redo my "101 things in 1001 days" list. I have new goals I want to accomplish.
